It depends on how many tiles have gone and what shape the underlay is in. A handful of cracked tiles on an otherwise sound roof is a repair. Widespread cracking, perished underlay or repeated leaks in different spots usually means a re-roof is the better spend. We will get up there, take a proper look, and tell you honestly which one you are facing.

It depends on the age and condition of the roof. If the roof structure and roofing system are still suitable but the surface is weathered, faded or showing manageable defects, a restoration can be a cost-effective option. If the underlay, fixings or overall condition mean replacement is the better investment, we will explain that at the site inspection.

Requirements depend on the type and scope of the roofing work. Work that requires an LBP is overseen by an LBP licensed roofer, and we will explain any documentation or council requirements that apply to the project.

The tiles themselves last a very long time — it is normally the underlay, flashings and fixings underneath that give out first. Keeping moss down and gutters clear makes a real difference to how long you get out of a roof.

The treatment begins working after application, but the visible result is gradual. Weather removes the treated growth over time, and noticeable improvement may take six months or longer depending on the roof, growth and conditions. A follow-up at 12 months and treatment at the recommended interval after that, commonly every 24 months, keeps it under control.

Concrete tiles are walked on all the time, but they need to be walked on correctly. Our team knows where the load points are. If a tile does break while we are working, we replace it.

Qualifying roofing work is covered by our written workmanship warranty, with the term applying as stated in the project documents. Roofing materials may also carry manufacturer-backed warranties, with the term depending on the selected product. Your quote and warranty documents will confirm the cover for your job.

Work requiring an LBP is overseen by an LBP licensed roofer. We also hold public liability insurance and use trained personnel and appropriate site-safety systems for the work being completed.
